Laboratory tests
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
A CBC is a common blood test that measures several parts of your blood, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. It helps clinicians look for signs of infection, anemia, and other conditions.
On a bill, a CBC is usually a laboratory charge. If you see it, you can ask billing to point to the lab report that matches the date of service.
